American Horror Story: 1984 Gets New Posters, Teaser Videos
Here's the latest preview round-up to get you prepared for the return of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology series.
By Chris Morse
We are just a week away from the return of American Horror Story with its new '80s slasher-inspired season, titled 1984, and FX has continued to ramp up the fun teasers and previews to set the stage ahead of the big debut. Since our most recent round-up, there have been a handful of new posters and five total teaser videos, so now is the perfect time to get caught up on all of it. Check them out below!
This new story of American Horror Story is intended to be a throwback to ‘80s slasher horror, set in that time period with camp counselors and all. It follows those working and in attendance at Camp Redwood, the site of past horrific murders, not to mention a serial killer named Mr. Jingles, who escaped from a nearby psychiatric facility. This has all the makings of a classic slasher, but don’t be surprised if we receive some Ryan Murphy twists along the way.
The new season will feature returning alums Cody Fern, Billie Lourd, and Emma Roberts. Joining them are Olympian Gus Kenworthy, Matthew Morrison (Glee), Angelica Ross (Pose), DeRon Horton (Dear White People), and Zach Villa. While she won’t have a lead part in this season, you can expect Sarah Paulson to appear at some point, albeit in a reduced role or possibly even just a cameo. Series mainstay Evan Peters previously said he is sitting out this season.
American Horror Story: 1984 will premiere on September 18th, 2019 on FX. Stay tuned to Dead Entertainment for all the latest news and updates on the upcoming season and series as a whole.
