Fan Film Brings Gremlins Back for More Mayhem

It's been close to 3 decades since Gremlins first arrived and it's almost mind-boggling to think we haven't seen any Mogwai since then. Some of us here still look back on the movie quite fondly, so it was to our delight that Ryan Patrick's unofficial sequel made its premiere and took us back down memory lane. The fan film folllows a woman named Claire during a late-night shift at a local dinner and imagines a world where Mogwai are readily available for anybody who wants to own one. No more shopping at sketchy stores to find one in Recall. This, of course, does not bode well.

Gremlins: Recall was written and directed by Ryan Patrick and stars Katherine Rodriguez as Claire, Randy Irwin as Owen, Sarah Lilly as Deb, and Robert Wood as The Pitchman. Watch the short film above and be sure to check out more of the creator's work here.
