With each passing year, The Game Awards has become a bigger and bigger event. What started out as a way to honor the best of the best in gaming each year is now a full-blown celebration of the industry, featuring announcements, trailers, and discussion from prominent figures in the business. December 12th brings us the sixth annual version of the event and the full list of nominees was revealed earlier today, including a few notable names from our coverage here on Dead Entertainment.
Among the overall Game of the Year nominees are Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding and Capcom's highly successful remake of Resident Evil 2. We also have a few appearances from Devil May Cry, Luigi's Mansion, Mortal Kombat, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and much more. You can find the full list below, but we've gone ahead and highlighted a handful of nominations most relevant to what we cover here.
[blockquote-0]We will find out the winners of each category when The Game Awards 2019 streams live on Thursday, December 12th. If you happen to miss tuning in, we'll be sure to recap the winners and biggest announcements from the show here on Dead Entertainment. Stay tuned!
