Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is Free for Xbox Live Gold Members Through July 15th

Microsoft is kicking off the month of July with a new selection of free games for Xbox Live Gold members as part of its monthly Games with Gold deals. As usual, the company is offering a mix of current and older games, all of which can be downloaded and played on the Xbox One. Among the titles available this month is the classic action-platformer, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

This promotion certainly comes at an appropriate time, as the title’s director, Koji Igarashi, has just released a love letter to that game in the form of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. You can read our review on it right here, but this month is a fine time to honor the Castlevania classic nonetheless. The game is available as a free download from now through July 15th, so grab up your copy while you can.
