This launch trailer features all-new footage and focuses heavily on the deeper story elements of the game, which fans of the original are surely already familiar with. However, the stakes feel higher than ever in this gorgeous, modern recreation of this survival horror classic.

This whole occasion wouldn’t be complete without also recreating George A. Romero’s 1998 live-action trailer for the original game, would it? Capcom thought as much and surprised fans by releasing one for the new game, inspired by Romero’s work on the original. You can give the remake’s very own live-action trailer a watch below.
