Here's what you can expect from The Whisperers going forward.

While we’re still just over a few weeks away from its midseason return, AMC has shared a behind-the-scenes look at what’s to come when The Walking Dead shambles back into our lives on February 10th. Have a look above for the feature, which includes some new footage along with commentary from the cast and crew on what to expect in the back half of season nine.
As you probably already know, The Whisperers are here and will present a whole new kind of challenging threat for our group going forward. Not only does this new enemy disguise themselves with the flesh of the dead to help mask their movements, they also strategically guide the walkers and themselves towards their adversaries. We’ve already been introduced to key members from this group in other teasers, such as the group's leader and second-in-command, Alpha and Beta respectively.
It should be interesting to see how this story arc plays out without Rick Grimes and his son Carl, who both had integral parts to this story in the comic books. However, thanks to new showrunner Angela Kang, including the equally hard-working cast and crew, the series is feeling fresher than ever and we’re excited to see what lies ahead.
The Walking Dead will return for eight more episodes on February 10th at its usual time on AMC.
