DC Releases Sampler Trailer for Joe Hill’s “Hill House” Horror Comics Line
The first issue of the banner’s first series released today alongside this unique preview.

Joe Hill, acclaimed writer and son of legendary horror author Stephen King, has just launched his new line of horror comics and a sampler trailer was released today to tease what lies ahead. Dubbed “Hill House Comics,” the new banner will consist of five limited series and one bonus story, which will be told in two-page installments spread across the entire collection.
The first such series, titled Basketful of Heads, launched today with its debut issue and more are set to kick off in the months ahead. Hill is overseeing the entire brand, but has only written a few of these himself. This isn’t his first foray into comics either, as his first series Locke & Key took off in a big way and is set to receive a ten-episode Netflix series debuting relatively soon. See below for the list of series that will be a part of the Hill House Comics line.
[blockquote-0]These new horror comics should do a nice job filling the void left behind by DC’s recent closure of its Vertigo imprint, which was responsible for such darker franchises Swamp Thing. With a genre mainstay such as Hill in the fold, it’s hard not to be excited for what lies ahead in this space.
Once again, the first issue of Basketful of Heads is now available with more Hill House Comics on the way from DC in the months ahead. Keep an eye on Dead Entertainment for the latest news and information on these projects going forward.
