Andrew Gori’s upcoming indie horror feature, Hell House, has set its cast and is gearing up to begin filming via Camera Ready Pictures. Deadline reports that the cameras will begin rolling this fall for the film, which is being produced by Dennis Masel, Jamie Dolan, William Day Frank, and Tara Ansley.
The story follows the complicated relationship between Deep South high schoolers Dawn and Makayla on the eve of a religious-themed Halloween attraction’s grand opening. As the “hell house” prepares to open its doors, various townspeople fight to keep the pair apart with disastrous results.
Starring in Hell House is Stefanie Scott (Insidious: Chapter 3 and The Last Key), Odessa Adlon (Fam, Nashville), and Jess Weixler (The Son, The Good Wife). The cast also includes Gene Jones (No Country for Old Men, The Hateful Eight) and Michael Abbott Jr. (The Death of Dick Long, Loving).
Written and directed by Andrew Gori, the film does not yet have any estimated release date but we’ll be sure to keep you posted with all the latest here on Dead Entertainment. Stay tuned!
