Netflix has announced an all-new horror anthology, titled Ghost Stories. At the helm are four prominent Indian filmmakers in Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar, and Dibakar Banerjee. The show will consist of four short films within the genre and are described as being thematically connected to one another, culminating in a hair-raising end.
The four directors previously collaborated on Lust Stories, a similarly-structured anthology focused on love and sex, for the streaming platform, and are overall held in very high regard within Indian cinema. This anthology effort will be produced by RSVP Films.
Ghost Stories is set to go into production this month. Further details are not yet available at this time, but the end result of this collaboration will be streaming globally on Netflix.
