We’re still coming down from the jolt of adrenaline we felt after seeing more of DOOM Eternal at the Bethesda conference during E3 2019. Suffice to say, the game is looking spectacular and will be a worthy follow-up to its 2016 predecessor. You’re not going to want to miss this new footage of the game from the panel, so check out the story trailer in the embedded video above!
Earth is on the brink of annihilation and the Doom Slayer must traverse through multiple dimensions, such as Heaven, Hell, and the Night Sentinels’ homeworld, in order to save humanity... or what’s left of it. In these places, our brutal protagonist battles against an assortment of both familiar and foreign demons not seen in any DOOM game before. Don’t worry, you have an abundant arsenal of new weaponry to help you in your travels as well.
If you’re curious to see more of the gameplay, and we know you are, you can check out another demo of it below. If you’re one of the lucky ones to be attending E3, you’ll have a chance to get a hands-on impression of it on the gaming floor, where the demo will be available to play all week.
The title will also boast a feature known as BATTLEMODE, which is a brand-new two-versus-one multiplayer experience built from the ground up, in which the Doom Slayer will rip and tear through three rounds against some vicious opponents. Check out the teaser for this game feature below.
The game will be available as a standard edition, collector’s edition, and a deluxe edition. Have a look below of what’s included in the latter two.
[blockquote-0]DOOM Eternal will be releasing on November 22nd for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and the upcoming Google Stadia. Stay tuned to Dead Entertainment for all the latest news and updates regarding the DOOM franchise and the upcoming latest entry in the series!
