Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Previews the Returning Ventrue Clan
The latest reveal shines a light on the more corporate vampires of the city.

Another new preview has surfaced for the Paradox Interactive follow-up to Troika Games’ 2004 action RPG, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. The upcoming sequel to the cult classic title has already introduced us to four of its distinct factions, the most recent of which is the Toreador clan. In case you missed the others, check out our recap of the earlier reveals right here.
Today, we are taking a look at the Ventrue clan, which is comprised of the city’s capitalists and business elite. Through wealth and corporate influence, they have modernized with the times and found a place at the top of society, thriving in prosperity and making enemies of those who preferred the old ways of sticking to the shadows and not drawing so much attention.
Members of this clan have access to two distinct styles of powers to utilize against their enemies. The Dominate discipline is all about control and influence as the vampires hypnotize and command others to do their bidding. On the other hand, the Fortitude discipline is all about physical resilience for the users, absorbing pain and damage as well as protecting themselves with a stone-like barrier. A handy skill for a vampire in a clan with many enemies.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is set in Seattle, where a number of distinct factions of vampires co-exist, although the politics of this shaky balance remain ever complex. One night, a large, unsanctioned attack on several humans takes place and the main character is thrust into this now-volatile situation, forced to pick a side and get to the bottom of the mystery.
The game does not have an exact release date just yet, but is expected to arrive sometime in early 2020. The game will be released for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, but pre-orders are only available for PC at this time. Stay tuned to Dead Entertainment for all the latest news and updates on this title.
