E3 2018 is officially underway with most of the major industry panels taking place before the convention floor opens its doors on Tuesday, June 12th. Over the weekend, Electronic Arts had their EA Play 2018 event and showed off a new title from German studio Jo-Mei Games. The title will be published by EA and should be released in early 2019.
Sea of Solitude is a creepy, artistic journey through a world with a message about loneliness. According to creative director Cornelia Geppert, that message is about how being lonely can sometimes turn people into monsters, which is represented more literally in this game. This happens to the main character, Kay, but we soon learn she's not the only one and finding others may be the key to changing back.
This game was definitely a bright spot of the EA show and is certainly one we will be keeping our eyes on. Check out the trailer and let us know what you think.
