Clementine's journey is coming to an end in the fourth and final season, premiering this summer.

While it was previously announced that the next season of Telltale's The Walking Dead would be the last for the story-driven, occasionally-emotional series, we are inching closer to that reality with the release of first official teaser trailer for season 4. The Telltale series first premiered back in 2012 to a smashing success with its first season following the story of Lee and a little girl named Clementine. It's been quite a few years since then, both for us and that little girl, and this narrative journey is finally nearing its end.

The final season will consist of 4 episodes, with the first making its debut this summer on August 14th for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. You can pre-order the entire season starting this Friday with a neat bonus included. Not only will you get each of the episodes when they become available, you will also receive instant access to The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which features every single episode of the entire series. As a bonus, Telltale has also announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the new season will be arriving later this year.

This series coming to a close is bittersweet for us, as it has been quite the journey following Clementine from the beginning and emotional season 1 ending to how far we've come now. However, it may be better to finish telling this story on a high note before a series wears out its welcome. Are you ready to say goodbye to Telltale's The Walking Dead?
