The Game Awards 2019 brought with it a new look at Tripwire Interactive’s upcoming new game, Maneater. You may recall seeing a bit of this game back in August during Gamescom, but last night’s reveal included new footage and a release date. You will be able to take a bite out of this one on May 22nd, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
In Maneater, players can live out their ultimate Jaws fantasy by attacking and eating everything in sight. As your shark consumes more and bigger prey, it will be able to evolve, unlocking new customization abilities and becoming even deadlier.
The title is described as a single-player action RPG and comes our way from the studio behind Killing Floor 2. Honestly, the trailer speaks for itself just fine so give it a watch above and see for yourself.
Maneater is expected to release on May 22nd, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via the Epic Games Store. Follow Dead Entertainment for all the latest news and updates in the months ahead.
