Survival Horror Game SOMA Makes a (Free) Splash on the Epic Games Store
This title is available as a free download from now through November 7th.
Halloween may be over, but that isn’t stopping Epic Games from continuing to give out free horror titles! From now through November 7th, you can grab a free copy of the single-player narrative-focused survival horror game SOMA. It typically retails for $29.99. Also available is the trick-or-treat-themed role-playing game Costume Quest.
SOMA was released in 2015 for PlayStation 4 and PC, with the Xbox One port having arrived in 2017. It follows car crash victim Simon Jarrett who, after undergoing an experimental brain scan, wakes up in the futuristic PATHOS-II underwater research facility.
Unfortunately, the facility has fallen into disrepair and the on-site robots have gone rogue, becoming hostile and believing they are actually human. Jarrett must now make his way through PATHOS-II, uncovering both his lost past as well as figuring out his current predicament.
Will you be giving this latest free title a go or is it already part of your collection? Stay tuned to Dead Entertainment for more horror gaming news and content ahead.
