New Photos, Episode Date Revealed for Robert Englund's Freddy Krueger Appearance on The Goldbergs
Here's your first look at the actor donning his famous hat, glove, and sweater once again.

Fans of The Goldbergs and horror alike are gearing up for the television show's upcoming Halloween episode, featuring none other than Robert Englund himself. We previously reported that the actor would be appearing in the episode to reprise his famous role of Freddy Krueger once again and we now have the first official photos of the special event, along with the air date for the episode.
The episode, titled "Mister Knifey-Hands," will air on Wednesday, October 24th on ABC. Here is the full official description for the episode.
Despite Beverly’s wishes, Jackie’s parents allow Adam to watch A Nightmare on Elm Street and a disagreement between the families ensues. But Beverly dreams of facing off with horror icon Freddy Krueger (guest star Robert Englund), which teaches her an important lesson about her son’s relationship with Jackie. Meanwhile, Erica realizes she’s not as popular as she once was as she starts hanging out at William Penn Academy despite the fact she’s no longer a student there.
In addition, several images from the upcoming episode have been released, showing off Robert Englund in full makeup and costume for this very special occasion. This special Halloween episode of The Goldbergs will air on October 24th.
