Later this year, Michael Myers is returning to Haddonfield to finish what he started so many years ago. With Jamie Lee Curtis reprising her original role of Laurie Strode in this new reboot-style sequel to the original Halloween film, Blumhouse Productions has a potential horror hit on their hands when this movie hits theaters on October 19th.
The official trailer gave viewers chills as the new film looks to be a return to form for the franchise and now EW has exclusively released a brand-new official photo of Michael Myers to hold us all over until this fall. Check it out below.
Halloween sees Jamie Lee Curtis return to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. The film also stars Judy Green (Ant-Man, Jurassic World), Andi Matichak (Replicate, Orange is the New Black), Will Patton (Armageddon), and Virginia Gardner (Runaways), with Nick Castle (Escape From New York) returning as Michael Myers. The film is directed by David Gordon Green.
