Tom Hardy is... Tom Hardy in Venom's First Trailer

Earlier today, Sony Pictures revealed the first official teaser trailer for Venom. Bearing in mind that this is an early teaser, I can't help but feel a little ripped off that we didn't get a first glimpse at our titular Symbiote, even if only for a second or two at the end. We've had some first-look trailers for plenty of films that got us all hyped, but this one seemed to fall a little flat for the time being. There's still plenty of reason to be excited for the film itself, but this Tom Hardy action movie teaser is sorely lacking a big picture for what we can really expect to see in the film. Namely, Venom and what type of story this movie is going to tell.

The short version is that this trailer is exactly what it says it is: a teaser. We're going to have to wait for more and we can live with that for now. It does at least set the stage for a good origin story, but I hope there's a lot more to it when we finally get to see more. Share your comments below!
