The Predator Gets a Stop-Motion Holiday Short Because Why Not?
20th Century Fox wants to wish you a very Yautja Christmas.
By Chris Morse
Have you ever wondered how a Predator might fare against Santa Claus himself? Neither did we, but apparently we all get to find out together. 20th Century Fox just announced a very special holiday short themed around The Predator going toe-to-toe with Santa and his reindeer. As you can see in the trailer above, which was also released alongside this news, this short is of the stop-motion variety but we suspect this one won't be quite as family friendly as your typical Christmas shows in the same style.
The short will air next week on Comedy Central during BoJack Horseman on Wednesday, December 19th. The show typically comes on 10:30 PM eastern time but be sure to check your local listings if you are unsure what time you can tune in.
As for the movie itself, The Predator is already available for purchase on digital with a Blu-ray release coming on December 18th, perfectly timed for this fun short to get your favorite alien hunters on your mind. It's a fun crossover that you won't want to miss!
