According to a tweet by Jason Blum, founder and CEO of Blumhouse Productions, we may not have to wait much longer for the much-anticipated teaser trailer for Halloween. While he does not directly announce a trailer, it’s very likely that one will be arriving in early June after these comments. Universal Pictures will release Trancas International Films, Blumhouse Productions, and Miramax’s Halloween later this year on October 19th. Below is the tweet from Blum:

In addition, the official website for the film is up. While the site doesn't have much information available at this time, you can be sure this will change as we get closer to the film’s release.

Halloween sees Jamie Lee Curtis return to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago. The film also stars Judy Green (Ant-Man, Jurassic World), Andi Matichak (Replicate, Orange is the New Black), Will Patton (Armageddon), and Virginia Gardner (Runaways), with Nick Castle (Escape From New York) returning as Michael Myers.

The film is directed by David Gordon Green.
