Full Trailer Arrives for Castle Rock Season 2

Stephen King's Misery is set to come back to life with a new story focused on psychopath nurse Annie Wilkes.

A new trailer for Season 2 of Castle Rock is extending a warm welcome back to Stephen King's nurse from hell, Annie Wilkes. Earlier this month, Hulu released the teaser trailer for the season, but today’s new arrival pulls back the curtain even further on what to expect when the show returns with more episodes. In Season 2 of the television series, which will be putting a fresh spin on King’s 1987 novel, Misery, Lizzy Caplan plays the part of psychopath nurse Annie Wilkes. The novel was adapted to film back in 1990 as James Caan and Kathy Bates took on the leading roles of a famous author and his psychotic fan-turned-captor, respectively.

The cast also includes Tim Robbins (Here and Now), Elsie Fisher (Eighth Grade), Garrett Hedlund (Tron), Barkhad Abdi (Captain Phillips), Yusra Warsama (Call the Midwife), and Matthew Alan (13 Reasons Why). Guest starring is Robin Weigert (Deadwood), Sarah Gadon (True Detective), Alison Wright (The Americans), and Greg Grunberg (Heroes).
