Upcoming zombie comedy Little Monsters is now a Hulu original. The streaming platform announced today, with a new trailer, that the film will see a one-day-only limited theatrical event on October 8th. In addition, it will also be available for streaming on October 11th for all Hulu subscribers. If this is the first you are hearing about the movie, give the above trailer a watch and check it out for yourself.

The film follows a washed-up musician named Dave who volunteers to chaperone his nephew’s kindergarten class trip after taking a serious liking to the teacher, Miss Caroline. The trip has many complications, including competing with a famous kids’ show personality, Teddy McGiggle, and of course zombies. Can Dave rise to the occasion? We sure hope so.

Little Monsters is written and directed by Abe Forsythe. Starring is Alexander England (Alien: Covenant), Lupita Nyong'o (Us, Black Panther), Josh Gad (Frozen), and Diesel La Torraca. The movie is set for a limited theatrical debut on October 8th and will then be available for streaming on Hulu beginning October 11th. A UK and Ireland theater run is additionally planned for November 15th.
