Trailer: Deathcember Bringing Advent Calendar Horror This Christmas
It's never too early to start thinking about the holidays.
By Chris Morse
It's only July, but we are already gearing up for a little Christmas horror with the teaser trailer for Deathcember, an Advent calendar-themed film featuring 24 different shorts by 24 different directors. There are definitely some notable names among the bunch too, including Lucky McKee (May), Ruggero Deodato (Cannibal Holocaust), Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead), Julian Richards (Darklands), Isaac Ezban (The Incident), and Trent Haaga (Killjoy Goes to Hell).
With each segment, each door of the "calendar" will open its own tale of terror. The short trailer manages to tease a quick glimpse of each, showing off just a small taste of each holiday-themed story coming with this film. There's plenty to unwrap (sorry), so give the trailer a watch above and see for yourself.
Among those starring in Deathcember are Barbara Crampton (Re-Animator) Brianna Barnes (The Day), Sean Bridgers (Deadwood), Johnny Vivash (Book of Monsters), Barbara Magnolfi (Suspira), and AJ Bowen (You’re Next). With all the variety being brought to this anthology, there's no doubt any horror fan can find something they enjoy this holiday season.
The film does not yet have a release date, but a new trailer is due out next month, so we'll be sure to hear more then. As usual, follow Dead Entertainment and keep yourself in the loop!
