A new horror film is coming to Netflix this May in The Perfection, a film that got many moviegoers talking after its premiere at last year's Fantastic Fest. The above trailer does not give too much away, but what it does show is a disorienting mix of terror, suspense, and surprise as it quickly treads into the unsettling.

The Perfection follows a troubled musical prodigy who seeks out the new star pupil of her former school with shocking consequences. Described as an "elegant and terrifying suspense ride," we have heard nothing but good things after its premiere and can't wait to check this one out next month.

The film stars Allison Williams (Get Out, Girls) as Charlotte and Logan Browning (Dear White People, Hit the Floor) as the pupil, Lizzie. Richard Shepard (The Matador, Girls) directs and co-wrote the screenplay alongside Eric C. Charmelo and Nicole Snyder. It will arrive on Netflix next month on May 24th.
